Heat Exchanger - a GREEN cooling solution for Telecom
Dantherm heat exchangers are passive cooling systems designed to control the internal environment of Telecom cabinets for radio base stations. The heat exchanger solution is very cost effective and green with optimized performance and power consumption and reduced noise emissions.
Dantherm is among the first in the market to introduce plastic as material for our heat exchanger cores. Dantherm's plastic heat exchanger cores are highly energy-effecient and very light. In Telecom cabinets, cooling equipment is often placed in the door. Therefore, a lightweight heat exchanger will make placement in the door more cost-efficient, as less powerfull hinges are required.
The heat exchanger is a closed loop cooling system, which fits perfectly, where the internal temperature is to be kept from 5°C to 15°C above ambient temperature.

Heat exchanger installation
The heat exchanger is suitable for small to medium-sized cabinets and rooms. Heat exchangers can either be used separately or combined with air conditioners or TEC's, as seen in the cooling matrix below.
