VAM 15 MK II - Mobile heating
VAM 15 MK II:
The VAM 15 Warm Air Heater (heating capacity 18 kW) is a transportable unit, developed primarily to provide heating in temporary or transportable buildings or tents. The VAM 15 MK II is designed to be placed outside the tent, with supply air and return air ducted to the tent.
Function:
The VAM 15 MK II heater operates on the in-direct fired (clean air) principle thus insuring that no combustion products or fumes are introduced into the occupied spaces. The forced air system provides for the most rapid warm-up capability.
The VAM 15 MK II heater is essentially self-contained, requiring only a source of external electric power. The VAM 15 MK II heater will operate effectively on all diesel fuels. Appropriate fuels are supplied by the fuel hose assembly which may be connected to external jerrycans or drums. This particular portable warm air heater (18 kW) can be connected to a tent or a building with flexible air hoses. The unit is easy to transport by carrying handles and wheels and can be connected to power supply or separate diesel generator.
