Accessories to mobile heating and cooling units

Air hose system Ø225 mm:

The Ø225 mm air hose system is used in conjunction with mobile ACM and VAM units for heating and cooling of tents. It is designed to be used as a standard air distribution solution to fit different types of tents. Each end of the hoses has a metal ring, which will be pushed into each othe and held tight together by a simple to use rubber strap.  The Ø225 mm air hoses system consists of insulated as well as uninsulated hoses in different lengths:

Insulated, flexible air hose, Ø225 mm, 3 m long:
This hose is connected to the cooling or heating unit on one end and to the tent duct opening on the other. When not in use, it can be packed away in a separate compression bag.

Non-insulated, flexible air distribution hose Ø225 mm, 6 m long:
This hosse is used to distribute the warm/cold air inside the tent.  The air outlet is through small holes, placed at 2 o'clock. If the hose is used for distribution of cold air it must be suspended  under the ceiling of the tent. If it is used for distribution of warm air it must be placed on the floor of the tent.

Air hose Ø315 mm:

The Ø315 mm air hose system is used in conjunction with ACM mobile cooling units for cooling of tents. The system is designed to be used as a standard air distribution solution to fit different types of tents. These hoses are connected to each other by an easy to use ring system. The Ø315 mm air hoses system consists of insulated as well as uninsulated hoses in different lengths:

Insulated, flexible hoses Ø315 mm, 3 m long:
This hose is connected to the unit one one end and to the tent opening on the other. When not in sue, it is packed away in a bag, which is sewed to the hose.

Non-insulated, flexible air distribution hose Ø315 mm, 5 m long:
This hose is used to distribute the cold air inside the tent. uftfordelingsslangen bruges til at fordele den kolde luft inde i teltet. Den er forsynet med to rækker af åbninger hen langs oversiden. Slangen ophænges under loftet i teltet. Luftslangen opbevares i den medleverede slangepose, når den ikke er i brug.

Room thermostat:
There are two different types of room thermostat for Dantherm mobile heaters and air conditioners.  They will normally be placed inside the tent to control the Dantherm warm air heater or air conditioner which is placed outside. They are built into a water and dust tight enclosure (IP 66) and are supplied with a 15 m cable.

Flue gas analyzing kit:
For Dantherm Warm Air Heaters technicians it is recommended to have at flue gas analyzing kit. The purpose of the kit is to enable the technician to ensure correct use of the heaters by controlling the properties of the flue gas. Neglecting the importance of correct combustion settings can lead to decreasing efficiency and reduced component life time.

The kit includes devices for measuring soot, carbon dioxide, oxygen, flue gas temperature, ambient temperature etc. for determining the right balance between fuel and air in the combustion process. Analyzing the soot content and adjusting to the right value, prior to using the digital flue gas analyzer reduces the risk of getting soot into the measuring device and ensures long life time of the equipment

Fuel supply lance for jerry can:
A fuel supply lance for jerry can is available for VAM 40 MK II. The fuel supply lance has a quick-release coupling.

Fuel supply lance for 200 l oil drum:
A fuel supply lance for 200 l oil drum is available for VAM 15 MK II. The fuel supply lance has a quick-release coupling.

Jerry can:

Jerry cans are available as extra accessories for the VAM 15 MK II and VAM 40 MK II.

CO monitor
The CO monitor is a separate device designed to hang inside the shelter on one of the structural members.

The reason for using a CO monitor is for personnel safety. If a vehicle or other polluting sources are located just outside the shelter, and at the same time the heater is using its fresh air intake function, carbon monoxide can enter the tent compromising occupant safety.

The monitor is built into an IP65 enclosure with a simple operator interface and a wrapping strap for hanging. The CO monitor is connected to the heater by a 10m cable hard wired to the monitor. The CO-monitor settings are ready-made from the factory.
