DanX 2 is an efficient and economic solution that combines dehumidifying, temperature control and ventilation in wellness and pool rooms.
Energy saving is built into every detail of the DanX 2, with all components chosen to ensure high capacity and a long service life. The system lets you add as much as 100% outdoor air. Double cross flow heat exchangers that deliver up to 95% heat recovery combined with low-energy EC fan motors and optimal, high efficiency compressors ensure the lowest possible operating costs.
Our newly designed control system is very user-friendly, making it easy to achieve savings through efficient demand management. The choice of quality materials and effective corrosion resistance protect the DanX 2 against tough pool room environments and ensure a long service life.
Conveniently compact
Installation costs are kept to an absolute minimum for the DanX 2. The ultra-compact unit comes fully assembled, with built in after heating coil and control system. All you need to do is plug the unit in and connect it to your duct system, and it is ready to get to work.
The unit’s compact, integrated design enables optimal installation in the technical room, for example. Convenient top or side connections ensure easy access to ducts.
Intelligent control system
Both DanX 2 models are equipped with an intelligent control system that is unlike anything on the market. The system combines intuitive, hassle-free operation with extremely advanced control and programming options. The result is highly precise demand management – which is the secret to unprecedented low operating costs for the DanX 2 line.
A large, easy-to-read display makes it easy to check settings and current status. And a few simple buttons let you quickly and easily programme the unit to suit your own preferences. Control over every single function is at your fingertips.
The controller has a built-in communication capability, allowing it to be integrated into a C Bus system or into a MOD Bus network. More Bus systems are planned for the future.
DanX 2 is available in two different versions - DanX 2 HP and DanX 2 XD:
1. DanX 2 HP with double cross flow heat exchanger and heat pump
The DanX 2 HP combines the strengths of a heat pump system with a system that dehumidifies using outdoor air. The combined heat pump and highly effective double cross flow heat exchanger precisely regulate both humidity and temperatures in the pool room.
In addition to heat recovery exceeding 100%, the heat pump optimises dehumidification, so that the proportion of fresh air never exceeds what is necessary to ensure comfort. To achieve additional energy savings, a water cooled condenser can be integrated with the heat pump. This way, recovered heat can be used to heat the swimming pool water or utility water.
2. DanX 2 XD with double heat exchanger:
The DanX 2 XD is a very effective ventilation system that uses outdoor air to provide dehumidification, using a double heat exchanger that delivers up to a 95% heat recovery. This reduces energy consumption and total operating costs. The system is perfect for managing humidity and temperatures in the pool room.
Shared benefits
The built-in mixing function takes care not to add any more outdoor air than necessary to provide a comfortable indoor climate. Free cooling is also an option during summer, when the unit can add up to 100% outdoor air into the pool area through a by-pass.
Eurovent certified heat exchangers
The DanX 2 units are equipped with heat exchangers produced by HEATEX who participates in the Eurovent Certification programme for Heat Exchangers. Check ongoing validity of certificate on www.eurovent-certification.com or using www.certiflash.com.

| Day Partial recirculation with heating, 2-stage heat recovery and dehumidification with outdoor air and heat pump (HP model). To minimise pressure loss, only some of the humid air is conducted through the heat exchanger for evaporation. If dehumidification is insufficient, the proportion of dry outdoor air is increased automatically. |
Night The DanX 2 HP has a recirculation function and uses the heat pump for dehumidification. The double cross flow heat exchanger cool the air, thus helping with dehumidifi-cation. If dehumidification is not needed, the heat pump automa-tically shuts down, and the heating coil assumes the job of heating air, if needed. The DanX 2 XD continues to operate as it does during daytime, but using less outdoor air. |
